The food here was absolutely amazing, proper home cooked food (including the unbelievable chips).
Would HIGHLY recommend the salt & pepper chicken.
We'll definitely be back again soon.
Fantastic beer and food…. What more do you need..? Well…. a friendly atmosphere, great staff, quick service, plenty of choice in beer and food, and a feeling that you would go back again….. Good news…!! The Cottage has it all.

What a lovely home cooked Sunday dinner with me not having to cook 🤗
All the staff were lovely and very accommodating as we were awkward and wanted to move table.
I was a little devious about going here due to few negative reviews but please ignore… they’re always a Karen.
We’re going back and that’s says it all.
Ps. My only criticism, more red wine choice especially with lovely food you serve
Staff are so wonderful. Proud of the food they produce and being part of the local community. Always happy to amend orders to dish up your food just how you like it and they really put a lot of effort into making people full and happy.😊
Plenty of locals eat there and would recommend it to anyone wanting a good filling meal of reliable quality.
Me and my wife Karen very much enjoyed our meal. We eat out in several places across the backcountry and my honest opinion is that the meal we had there (roast beef meal) was as good or actually better than any i can remember. The roast beef was perfection. Well done all the staff
A proper decent Black Country boozer. Well kept ale served by friendly staff. Food is pretty good as well.

Can't fault the food prices have gone up but cannot fault the service one of the few pubs that serves proper home cooked food
