Very quaint old pub. Large outside seating and eating area will laid out and very pretty. There was some live music playing when we were there. Staff very accomodating who found us a table even though we hadn't booked. Dog friendly.

Nice outside area with plenty of seating which is on a first come, first serve basis (Reservations are accepted indoors). Also had nice music playing which wasn't too loud. Went for the Saturday special, steak dinner for £12.95 which is a great deal. Also had 2 cocktails for 10£ (1 mojito & 1 tequila grapefruit). Highly recommend this place, especially if you want a pub to go to, after a walk in the area.

This pub is amazing! It’s beautiful inside and out; the food is delicious; service is fast and staff are so helpful. Our group were so impressed with the Sunday roasts with crispy roast potatoes and homemade Yorkshire puddings. I have been here a few times and it’s always good. I really can’t recommend it enough. (Btw, they do have vegan options if you ask.)
