The Swan is a brilliant country pub with a great atmosphere. The menu caters for most tastes and budgets, and the bar is likewise.
They have five comfortable rooms for those who need to stay the night. Easily one of the most comfortable hotel stays I've had this year, (and I've had a few)
Good pub. Only one in the town that appear to show any sports. Good modern decor and good selection of beers and snacks. Do check food opening times as on the door it says lunch until 2pm and we arrived at 1.40 and told the kitchen was closed
Weekend away walking and this local pub had amazing food! Catered for a large group of us and staff were great.
We have had a fantastic time staying at The Swan Hotel. Luke & Casey have been outstanding as always, they go the extra mile. Fabulous food, hospitality and accommodation!

Perfectly adequate accommodation for a 2 night working trip. Room was simple but comfortable. Staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was great, and their coffee machine is fantastic!

We waitress was brill!! I had a southern fried chicken burger and it was PENG the fries were fried to perfection. The location was adorbs and had a heartwarming atmosphere I defo recommend. Overall I totally loved it COME HERE NOW!!! lots of love lala and moo
The Swan is a good place to eat. We found the meal rather sadly got less good as it progressed - starter was 10/10, main was 7/10 (we didn't have steak) and the dessert 5/10. However it was excellent value for money, the staff really attentive and quite happy to squeeze us in on a Saturday night without prior booking. Both the house Merlot and Shiraz were excellent.

We arrived just in time before the rush started, and the poor girl behind the bar was rushed off her feet. It was the day of the food festival, so I thought the management may have planned for additional customers. Additional staff did eventually turn up to help her. We agreed to share a table with another couple who arrived at the same time. The food we all had was well prepared and tasty and we all enjoyed our meals very much. I had the pie with mash and a lovely gravy, and my wife said her fish and chips was excellent. We will return to this venue
