Some of the best fish and chips I've had. Not dripping in oil, nice and crisp, cheap. Very clean and good service.
Came here by happenstance as all restaurants were all booked up without leaving us many options. But the haddock and chips were so top notch that my group couldn't wish for anything else.
For the vegans and veggies out there, we saw a vegan "fish" option and a veggie burger, though we didn't have those.

Recommended fish & chips for good price/value. We loved the special haddock that made the dish even crispier but also normal one was good. We think there is room for improvement for the fries but overall a good meal.

Excellent chippy! We popped in here for something to eat on holiday and really enjoyed it. You can sit in or take away. The food was cooked fresh and really really good. The chips were fantastic, really well cooked and crispy. And the curry sauce is delicious!

Really great chippy, we had the fish and chips and smoked sausage, all were some of the best we've had in Scotland. They were made fresh and very quickly, plenty of space to dine in too, service was excellent.

I had the best Fish & Chips in the entire UK at the Chip Shop in Scotland! I've been to many places in the UK, including Inverness, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, the Shetland Islands, London, Folkestone, Peterhead, Fraserburgh, and North Berwick.
Nowhere else have I found such delicious Chip Shop food like here. Absolutely fantastic! The standout was the combination of Fish & Chips with Curry Sauce.
The batter on the Fish was perfectly crispy, and the fish itself fresh and tender. The Curry Sauce added an exquisite flavor, making the dish an absolute treat for the taste buds.
Beyond the outstanding food, I want to highlight the excellent service as well. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant had a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
I wholeheartedly recommend Joe‘s Chippy, especially if you're on the hunt for the best Fish & Chips in the UK. An absolute must-visit for every foodie! I'll definitely be stopping by again when I'm in Scotland next.

Blown away by this clean and fresh chippy. Service from the young lad at the till would put 90% of adults to Shame. The food was absolutely perfect. Cannot recommend this place enough.
