What a lovely menu, loads of choice, everything all homemade using superb ingredients, BEST bacon and egg roll ever. Bacon, smoked to perfection, soft yolked fried egg, slightly toasted roll with a slight crunch, great amount of brown sauce and superb lattes - yum! We were given a weekend at the MacDonald Hotel by friends - incredibly nice of them! All we had to do was pay for our food & drinks. The breakfast in the hotel was £17.50 each, so over the course of the weekend we thought, £70 for breakfast for 2 people for 2 days at the hotel was a bit chunky SO we ventured out of the hotel and found Riverbank Cafe, where we met Chrissie, one of the owners. Chrissie was very friendly, during the course of our breakfast pointed out great things to do in the area. We ate there both mornings, Saturday & Sunday (great to have it open on a Sunday) plus it is dog friendly so a huge bonus for us & free wifi. When we are back in the area we will def be back in to Riverbank. It isn't the cheapest place in the world BUT you get what you pay for and you can 100% tell that the best quality ingredients are used and are cooked well. Plus there is a lovely gift shop as well.
Great cafe, friendly staff, fresh food, lovely home baking and added bonus dog friendly highly recommend

This is a lovely cafe come art shop in Kinloch Rannoch. Spotless and kept spotless by attentive staff. Extensive menu for lunch. We'll worth a visit in passing. Border cake, coffee and the all day breakfast are all musts. Homemade jams for sale, superb!!!
Excellent fresh soup. Lots of choices. Shop also sold locally made xmas tree ornaments - other locally made products including delicious jams. Great stop.
Great little cafe with plenty of selection on offer. Called in for breakfast twice over the weekend as we were staying local. Friendly service and very clean environment.
A good stop for a cycle around the area. The borders tart was delicious and all the calories we needed. Coffee decent.
We visited this lovely cafe several times during our stay in June of 2022, mainly to warm up with a cup of coffee (which was delicious) but then always ended up having one of their delicious baked goods. I enjoyed looking at all the local photos, art, crafts and ended up purchasing these 2 red squirrel photos and having them professionally framed...just love them.
I arrived at 10:30 Wednesday when they opened(they are closed Monday and Tuesday). I had the the most fantastic fresh fruit scones with butter and the world's best (in my opinion) homemade raspberry jam. I bought 2 jars to take with me.
I followed this up with border tart.
Very friendly staff who served us promptly even though fairly busy. Food was excellent. Can sit outside overlooking the Dam
Tucked away in the heart of a quiet village, we found a charming café that immediately felt like home. The kindly woman at the counter, with her warm smile, added an extra layer of comfort to our visit.
I tucked into a delightful Scottish breakfast that, while unpretentious, hit all the right notes for a homely start to the day. The simplicity of the fare was a testament to the authenticity of the place.
The hot chocolate was a cozy touch, providing a sweet endnote to our wee breakfast. It was a simple, soothing drink to complement the meal.
In short, this little village café offered a pleasant, welcoming experience and a hearty start to the day. No frills, just honest food and friendly service in a cozy setting - a delightful way to embrace the day.
Stopped here for some lunch whilst driving around the Loch Rannoch area. Lovely food, well cooked and plentiful. One to save for future visits.
