Stopped here (again) while out and about on my motorcycle and during a cycle too. I enjoy this place so much so I keep coming back anytime I find myself going north...
Vegan/Vegetarian options are delicious! The views are great and this is also a great starting point for your 14 miles loop on foot or bicycle around the loch and then come back to a well deserved meal!
Will visit again, obviously 😉
They have a wonderful selection of local and own-label products, as well as beautifully designed homeware. The on-site deli and restaurant were equally impressive, serving up delicious treats.
This is a stunning example of a cafe/restaurant / deli / shop experience set in a glorious setting . Enjoy wonderful views whilst either having a coffee or enjoying a freshly prepared meal from locally sourced produce, with three eatery options . The service is freindly and very professional in the family run establishment and with the delightful walks connecting Loch Leven, what's not to love . Just a short drive from the motorway, I would highly recommend for a visit.
Lovely place, beautiful setting, great coffee and scrumptious cakes. Despite some previous reviews it is definitely dog friendly outside, large covered area with heaters and plenty of water bowls. Dogs are not allowed inside though.
It's a great place to stop!
Beautiful location, lovely setting for the cafe, and great food. We only had drinks and cakes. But the menu read so well and I really wanted to stay for lunch too.
Very friendly service from everyone.
Picked up scotch eggs from the fab deli to feed the boys on the bike ride.
Highly recommend 👌🏽
Great wee find. Amazing food and slick service. Fabby shop too.
Lovely food, friendly and helpful staff, nice views down towards the loch.
Good outdoor play area for children; good walks down and around the loch, level pathways suitable for all walking level.
Would recommend visiting and eating there.
It was lovely to sit outside, look at the view and enjoy the peace and quiet.
Getting the coffee from the wee cabin was slow. There was only one girl on duty and she was cooking the fresh pancakes and sorting the coffee. But overall worth the wait.
I visit here regularly as it is local, the food is generally lovely and the shop is nice. Coffee and cakes are nice. A bit disappointed that the menu has changed as we always ordered the French toast with bacon which isn't on offer anymore. There is an Eggy Bread option but not with bacon and maple. Will be back but probably for cake and coffee going forward. Scenery and location are top notch.
Had a lovely afternoon here..so much to do and see.. the shop is great ..there is so much to look at and buy..cards, books, toys, kitchen ware, confectionery, candles, ornaments.lost of food, alcohol.. to name but a few..the Larder Cafe is table service.. food is lovely.. great choice ..also another cafe you can eat inside or outside in the Canopy Cafe fully covered and heated ..dogs are allowed there..the view is amazing .. there's a walk you can do round the lock or you can bike it..plenty room for the kids to run about and have fun ..picnic tables there as well ..there are toilets.. very popular place ..the staff are very polite and helpful ..well worth a visit ..
