Initially, we thought we ordered too many chips. Turns out, the chips were amazing, tasted phenomenal, and could have done with some more! GF had the sausage. Better then our local one. Tasted like how a sausage should. I had the cod, which tasted great. Lovely people running the plaice too. Highly recommended 👌🏼

Was recommended Kirby's from a local guy in Frinton, and wasn't disappointed. The food was fresh and the batter crispy and light.
As it's only 4mins away from Frinton and was worth the short drive.
They have a car park so instead of parking on the road just pull in on arrival.

The food here is really good, it's our go to fish and chips shop and it's a bit out the way but we prefer to come here. When the roadworks were going on they had hilarious roadworks specials which made me chuckle!

Always stop here for fish and chips when we're visiting Frinton. Very busy evening but the staff appeared to manage this very well.
First time visitor, and very pleased I went. Excellent proper chips, good quality cod and great batter well cooked. Lovely staff too. They now accept debit and credit cards and I was pleased to see it was busy, so clearly a popular place. We went Monday evening when other places were closed.
