Fantastic meal and a fantastic place to be with such nice members and staff , shall visit again
4 adults 3 kids and not one complaint form any of us food fantastic service amazing would give more stars if I could especialy as I got cake to take away the gentleman behind the bar couldn’t have have been more friendly and accommodating and the chief cooks a mean steak !!

After visiting Flamingo Land for the day we visited the Coach House (on the Flamingo Land site) for some good grub and it did not disappoint.
We sat in the outdoor area which had patio heaters and a nice fresh air feel, which given it was quite cold outside was refreshing.
The food itself came pretty quick; I had the chicken parmo and the other half the scampi and some onion rings on the side. The chicken parmo was excellent and was packed full of flavour, complemented with a chilli sauce which didn’t have too much bite. The scampi was well cooked and the onion rings weren’t too dry or too soggy which you often find at “pub-style” establishments. The only let down was the dressing on the salad that came with the parmo was overly vinegary.
You might ask why I’m giving this a 4 star over a 5? A chap working there, wearing a Hawaiian shirt, just did not seem interested at all. Also, In the tub that the condiments and cutlery came in was not one but two open packets of salt.
Definitely would recommend this place without a shadow of a doubt- hopefully the little bits have improved for next time!
** EDIT IN ADDITION ** I actually wanted the Sunday dinner at first, but we were told that among quite a few other things were off the menu, and it was only mid-day!
We had a meal for 10 which was tasty, served within a reasonable time and fresh. Everyone one of us had a good meal, decent pub grub, great service.
Came on the 8.6.23. We have been here for the week and granted this is the first "proper " pub lunch we have had, but we are not easy to impress. We got two lasagna, a Parmo and a cheese burger.
Everything was suburb. The Parmalat was crispy well done and brilliant flavours. The burger was a tiny bit small for the bun but was beautiful and the lasagna was cheesey and very hearty. All served with skin on chips. 5 out of 5. Yes it is expensive, the burger was 11.95 the lasagna was 12.95 and the parmo was 12.95 drinks of 2 pints of coors coke 0 and a double gin with lemonade 19.40
I read the dubious reviews previous to dining out here..... as visitors to the theme park we had ventured in for a pint whilst relaxing in the Easter sun and saw what culniary delights that where on offer....
We didn't hesitate to return and order the family deal of a Full roast chicken, chips, onion rings, corn on the cob and gravy with an extra order of side salad enough to feed 4 adults and a toddler (and a chicken doggy bag for our Border Terrier).... I have to say we all ate like Kings and at £30 all in I can't complain one bit...! Food was piping hot as well.... the other dishes that people where ordering also looked good and plentiful. I believe they were busy at the start of reopening after the covid saga so I'd assume the bad previous reviews.!
Wow just been and eaten at the coach house and the food was amazing I had the chicken parmo which was like Malton lava, with yummy chunky chips, the wife had steak pie and chips which she was happy with and that's a good thing as the wife is very picky. We're here for 4 days so will be trying more of the menu
I visited tonight with my family we ordered 3x chicken parmos, when they arrived all 3 were cold, I explained to waiter who immediately took away the food and brought fresh with no hesitation. The fresh food was piping hot and really nice, gutted though parmo was that big I couldn't finish my chips, on the whole a nice place and atmosphere, staff were very helpful and polite.
Nice sit down pub food place open for lunch and teatime in Flamingo Land.
