The garden has opened early and it is stunning. The garden centre cafe was clean, the staff friendly and the cakes gorgeous. I went overboard buying plants but I couldn't resist. All in all a lovely afternoon. The photos don't do it justice 🙂

Great garden centre, and if you're not plant savvy like me they're really helpful in explaining and finding what's going to work best for your garden.
The tea rooms is fantastic as well, with great selection of cakes and traybakes to choose from all with views of beautiful flowers to look over while you eat.

Meynell Langley Tea Rooms.
A most delightful cafe in the Log-Cabin style with veranda and conservatory.
The staff are extremely friendly and service is fast.
I have been coming here every couple of weeks or so for several years now with friends as it makes a really pleasant bike ride from Burton upon Trent, about 14mls. The delightful lanes are extensive in all directions so it can be longer with a little imagination.
Opening times 10.00-4.30 Mon/Sat. 10.00-4.00 Sunday.
See my pics for extensive menu..............enjoy.
Large car-park for customers only. Kedleston Park is nearby enabling outstanding walks.

Meynell Langley Garden Centre is a lovely place to visit in a picturesque part of Derbyshire. It is well sign posted off the A52 Derby to Ashbourne Road, from the Kirk Langley cross roads. There is plenty of parking. They have an excellent selection of plants & at very reasonable prices compared to some of the larger garden centres. The staff are always very helpful & happy to give advice. There is also a small cafe there. I've not actually tried it but the menu is good & there are always a good few people in so that must tell you that it's pretty good. I would highly recommend a visit to this garden centre.

Nice little Cafe in a pretty setting indoor seating is comfy but the outdoors is great feels like you're in an English garden. The food is good and the service is friendly.
