Visited last night for a family reunion meal while we were home for a holiday from Australia. Drove through from Glasgow and Coatbridge. What a fantastic, authentic Italian restaurant! Atmosphere - first class, food and drink - first class, service - very friendly, accommodating and first class. I would highly recommend the Cozze Alla Marinara to start followed by the Linguine Alle Vongole. They even rustled up a tasty Irish Coffee for me which rounded off the meal nicely. If you're in or around Fife, get yourself along here, you won't be disappointed. I wish I could lift the whole place and staff up and plant you all in Perth, WA! Grazie mille!
I without a doubt recommend a meal here . Food was excellent , extremely tasty . Fantastic variety on the menu . Staff very friendly , attentive , very polite staff . Excellent value for money . 😃😃😃😃😃
Absolutely fantastic authentic Italian cuisine. The portions are a great plus, you won't walk out hungry! The staff is nice and helpful and service on time
I came here a week ago with my sisters and we all ordered from the lunch menu which was not only very reasonably priced for a three course meal but with a lot to choose from. I had the prawn cocktail for starters and sea bass for the main course. When it came to dessert we were given a list of choices and I was hoping there would be my favourite Italian dessert Tiramisu... Alas they didn't have any so I opted for the lemon meringue pie which was lovely. The staff and the owner were all super friendly and very accommodating and so I decided to come back with my husband today. I had battered prawns with chilli dip for starters and lamb chops for the main course which were absolutely delicious. When the waiter came to tell us the dessert list the first thing on that list was Tiramisu! That was it for me, I didn't need to hear the rest of the desserts. When it was served, omg it was so beautifully presented it was almost a shame to eat it. I'm glad I did though because it was the best Tiramisu I've had.
I want to say thank you to all the staff and the owner of Marino's for looking after us so well. It is a lovely restaurant with beautiful decor and authentic Italian music. Pure joy to be there!
The food was wonderful! I had the stracciatella soup as the starter, then the lasagna al forno as the main course, and finally the banana fantasia as the dessert. Afterward we had a cappuccino. The restaurant had a very nice atmosphere, there were Christmas decorations. The waiter was also very friendly to us. We will definitely come back!
We had the pre theatre menu which was very reasonable priced for three courses each. The selection on this menu was also very good. It came in at about £40.00 for 2 of us, including a pint of coke each. Can't argue with that and the food was excellent, will be back in the future for sure.
First visit tonight. Will definitely be back. Food was delicious and the staff were so friendly especially the lady who gave my partner an assortment of ice cream when he couldn't make up his mind.
Absolutely stunning. Great food the service is far better the staff are no longer over attentive.
Only 1 area for improvement is the desserts, they're not the best. They have a feel of Costco cakes or ice cream
Excellent food with an extensive menu.
Very helpful and friendly staff.
The only minor issue was the loud background music, otherwise we'll be back asap!
1rst class service, wine was stunning and the food was home made hearty itallian comfort like velvet. I truly cannot say enough in my honest opinion this is Scotland's finest most authentic itallian resteraunt.
The people there make you feel at home, they are so nice you really forget you are in a restaurant
The food is DELICIOUS
I normally don't like shrimps and salmon but they cook it so well that I couldn't resist
It was wonderful, really looking forward going again soon
Lovely place, a great variety of food but too loud once you get a squad of people that scream over each other its just not pleasant
