This is a pub with no pretentious attitude and a good atmosphere. It's a good size and caters for all but won't suffer fools gladly as it has its own regulars that are there week in and out, keeping the place open so doesn't need jerks demanding special attention just because they're going to be in once a year thinking they're being edgy.
A good selection of drinks and good service, comfy surroundings and staff happy to help. Prices are fair and there's a fair bit of history to the place...it's survived where others haven't. 🍻

Tremendous bar, with a very hard working owner, and superb punters, who the majority are characters in the nicest possible way, lunchtime there is good wholesome food served.
