This is a pub with no pretentious attitude and a good atmosphere. It's a good size and caters for all but won't suffer fools gladly as it has its own regulars that are there week in and out, keeping the place open so doesn't need jerks demanding special attention just because they're going to be in
We go here quite regularly on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. The always quick service, and the staff are lovely. Food is good and the prices are great. You can get a two course meal for about £7 and three courses for an extra couple pounds. They always have specials on and they serve light bite opt
Tremendous bar, with a very hard working owner, and superb punters, who the majority are characters in the nicest possible way, lunchtime there is good wholesome food served.
