This place is amazing. Food is so fresh and tasty. Glad we chose to use it as our last meal in Kirkcudbright for our holiday. Why are there so many good places to eat in such a small area? Portions are generous. My wife adored her scallops and my fish cakes were so fresh and tasted amazing. Her lamb shank defeated her and my mixed grill was amazing value. Need to book here as not many covers in the restaurant but absolutely worth it.

We have been to kirkcudbright several times but desired to have lunch here today, on entering the hotel we received a warm welcome the waiting staff were so friendly and attentive when our food arrived it was wonderful everything was so fresh it was so worth the money I would most certainly go again
