Delicious home made soup and freshly made sandwiches.
Would have scored 5 stars but slightly too long a wait for drinks and then food to be served.
We've visited twice whilst in the area, so it isn't too big an issue, just don't be in a hurry to go anywhere afterwards

As visitors to Kirkcudbright, we were very happy to see some cafes and bistros open again for lunch and we took shelter from the cold, grey weather in the welcoming Harbour Lights.
Relevant Covid measures still in place and carried out as expected. We were lucky and got a table at the window to watch the world go by. The location is central in the town with views over to the river.
We both ordered sandwiches and study drinks, which were prepared and served quickly. I had coronation chicken with a healthy pile of tasty filling and side salad.
There was a decent choice of menu and I'd certainly visit here again of we are back in Kirkcudbright.

Wow!! Just be careful when ordering. I thought the soup and sandwich was a HALF sandwich and HALF soup, but it was FULL for both!!

Excellent for Gluten Free choices and staff very friendly. Choices of Gluten free cakes (carrot cake, chocolate cakes, syrup sponge...) and ample mains. Food very tasty

A good selection of food on offer. The decor is great and you may spend slightly longer in the WC reading all the funny stories. Next time we will try the cakes which looked amazing.

Great little place, we called here whilst on holiday. Very reasonably priced and tje food cooking smelt fab! We enjoyed a warm scone with Jam and cream and a scrumptious latte. Highly recommended.
