A real treat to come here when I'm visiting my parents in Kirkham. The chips taste better than anywhere and the fish is just perfection....really thick, juicy, fresh fillets. The batter as well.... elsewhere I'd usually order lightly battered to avoid the excessively oily stuff you normally get but at Dawsons even the thicker batter is good. Oh yeah, and the portion sizes are good as well. Large chips really are large chips.

This has got to be the best chippy on the Fylde Coast. In all the years of visiting Dawsons, I can honestly say I've never had anything bad to say. Fantastic fish and chips always cooked fresh and hot. Plus very generous portions. A genuine 5 star chip shop. Fantastic!
