A recent visit as a tourist to Kirkwall found us stopping at this café for tea and a sandwich. The menu selection was great and the service was better than expected. The staff was courteous and helpful answering questions about the menu. …

This cute coffee shop is located in the main tourist street. Its decor is very nice and so are staff. Sadly coffee was a bit burnt. Very nice atmosphere.

A great find in Kirkwall. The best hot chocolate (70%), scones and panini with brie, cranberry and bacon.

It's situated in the nearly pedestrian area near the cathedral and exciting whisky shops, jewellery shops, museums and Co.

After waiting for the table to be cleared, 1 of 2 which needed attention, I gave up.
If you've time to stand behind the counter drinking your own refreshment, surely you have time to attend to customers. Not the 1st experience of this type

Beautiful brekkie. Amazing black pudding and bacon. Everything was great but that was the highlight. Topped off with a bloody good cuppa! Went out for some shopping and had to come back for cake and a latte. Highly recommend!
