We called there as we were on a narrow boat holiday and needed to eat .After a healthy walk we arrived early and were given a table. What a delight. Superb food, attentive service,great bottle of wine, just a top class evening . An unexpected delight and totally memorable.

Excellent place to stop for a quick bite. We had 3 Dashwood Burgers and 1 jackfruit burger. All were excellent and the staff were attentive.
Visited on a Saturday and was quite quiet between 12:00 and 13:30 but started to fill up after that.
Highly recommended.

Friendly landlord who kept the bar open when he was wishing to close for the afternoon, just to let us have a drink in the pleasant sunny (then) garden. Lovely village to wander around.
Visited for the first time in absolutely ages. 4 of us all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Very tasty and lovely presentation. Great service too. Will defo go back.
Beautiful, a hidden gem, the bar and restaurant have a great ambiance, comfortable with an old world feel, a great spot to get comfy and unwind. The food is excellent with a wide choice and good portion size. The staff were great; very polite and helpful. 5 stars.

Impromptu stop off on our way home from Oxford and had a lovely meal. Portions perfectly sized and good value for money. Tasty unpretentious food served by polite efficient staff. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Whenever I pop in here I always get a warm welcome. I don't live in the village but Scott always remembers me and makes me feel part of the Kirtlington community. The bar is lovely, great range of wines and spirits and the food menu is always very enticing.
