Fantastic location with great parking and 1 of the few suitable for big campers (we are 9m & no problems)
Kim the lady of the establishment is such a friendly lady and makes you feel instantly welcome.
The pub adjacent is super dog friendly with treats & water set out for our furry friends and the food is superb and great value.. this really is a cracking find and 1 we're sure to return to

Lovely little friendly pub, slightly off the beaten path, quality food, recommend the Moroccan vegetable tagine. Dog friendly too, provided snacks and water for Archie the cockapoo!

Had an amazing evening here.
Booked a table in the dog friendly room as we were dinning with our pooch.
Food was amazing. Service was amazing. Venue was amazing and complimentary treats for the dog.
I highly recommend the Monster Burger too.

Had a lovely meal at The Masons. Food was superb, the leg of lamb extremely tender and a great standard all round. Staff were friendly and attentive and a great atmosphere - also helped by an open fire. Lovely pint too. We were sat in the snug that is also dog friendly!

Stopped off here on our long journey from England to Scotland after luckily deciding to stop around that area. Just off the motorway but also kind of in the middle of nowhere but very easy to find. Lovely looking building, very nicely decorated. The food was absolutely delicious, our 3 courses went down a treat. Great menu and very reasonable prices. The waitress who served us was very friendly and polite. Will definitely visit again. Thank you for a fantastic meal.

First day of our holiday it made sense to book a meal out. Wow we were not disappointed, great service from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. Food choice was excellent, in fact we struggled to choose it was so good. Food was delivered fast and efficiently and tasted how it looked, superb! Puddings were equally quick and great. Overall exemplary in all aspects and we will visit again before we go home.

Dog-friendly is an understatement! They have a cosy back room that feels like you're at a friend's house. We brought 3 dogs between 4 of us, and it was fabulous! Great food and service. We will be back.

So cosy and laid-back, it's like having a dinner party at home! The entire back room is dog-friendly, for any number of dogs-we brought 3 dogs for our party of 4, and it was no problem at all. They were made to feel as welcome as we were. The staff were all great, as was the owner who came to talk to us after we had eaten, and we got to fuss Mouse, the real boss (photo). The food was great. We will definitely return.

Driving home up the A1 with our caravan, we needed a lunch stop with our baby and toddler. Vast car park that meant we could easily turn around with the 'van. Upon entering the restaurant, we experienced an extremely friendly greeting. Both our children were easily accommodated with high chairs and children's menu. Extensive choice, generous portions and very tasty food. Reasonably priced. Would certainly come back.
