First Visit to Knaresborough – A Summer Surprise at Six Poor Folk
It was my first time visiting Knaresborough, and a heatwave had just arrived. …
Food was good with slightly hard green beans but everybody's tastes are different We had chicken Sunday roast. I had a nice pint of cask bitter and my other half had Lager and lime. Price was £45 roughly. Staff, from walking in to leaving were polite and very helpful.
Recommended by the tour guide at the castle in Knaresborough. This place did not disappoint. I was looking for a 'Sunday Roast' and it delivered! Absolutely delicious. I was warmly greeted by the owner and enjoyed a lovely totally English meal here. A souvenir to remember.
Great little place in the beautiful historic market town of Knaresborough. We were so lucky to get a table for 2 for Sunday lunch. Would advise booking! Staff friendly, especially the lady that was out waitress. Sunday lunch freshly cooked and served nice and hot. Great atmosphere and nice and festive for Christmas. Highly recommended.
