Great local pub, very dog friendly,patio/decking area on canal side and garden seating, large carpark, enjoyed our visits while visiting the area from Spain.

It was only a quick visit on a rainy day.
There is a lovely deck and beer garden next to the canal. And the pub is clean, with friendly staff.
They do Sunday lunch, which sounds very good! But no food through the week. However we were told we could take our own food in (several shops and food outlets near by) during the weekday open hours.
We will be visiting again.

What a great Sunday roast ,you need a good appetite to finish the servings, very generous , really everything was cooked beautifully ,best servings of beef I have ever had , could not have been better.Prompt and friendly staff, highly recommended.

Called in for the first time today with my wife. Great range of beers and lunch options. We had Sunday lunch and they serve that from 12-4pm. Bring an appetite though as the portions are very generous. Great VFM, we will be back!

My and my husband had are wedding venue at the steam packet inn in knottingley this year it's was brilliant.
The staff was very helpful from the start to the end of are special day.
Food was lovely and the set up was amazing.
The room was just how we wanted, very clean and tidy.
I would definitely recommend anyone who is looking for a wedding venue to go there.

They only do food on a Sunday, and again, only between 12 and 4 and we arrived far too late but hey ho, life goes on. They'd a couple of interesting beers and the staff are friendly, including the Landlady who is well worth a hug.
It's a Marsden's pub, so the beers are going to be what you'd expect from a mainstream, albeit above average chain.
We liked it, and would stop here again.
