On a date night decided to go wine and and wallop, which turned out to be great experience as the food was tasty and beautifully cooked. The service was top class and Sam was excellent looking after us.

Lovely place, great atmosphere and super friendly helpful staff. Had some lovely malbec red wine and the BEST EVER cheesy chips!!! (Not even on the menu! We just asked and they did it for us!) They had a choice of triple cooked fat chips or thin fries. We went for the fat chips, the cheese was gorgeous and perfectly melted all over the chips. They also threw some herbs (rosemary maybe?!) on the whole lot - absolutely delicious. Amazing. All served in two piping hot low bowls on a thick wooden cheese board type tray. Really fab. Wish I'd taken a photo to upload. Next time I will, then edit this review and add the photo in!. Thanks. Highly recommended. A++ :-)
PS. They have a lovely upstairs/outside terrace too.

Yet again Wine and Wallop did not disappoint. The Surf and Turf shared platter for two was excellent and well worth the short wait. Scallops, prawns, steak and a variety of other meat dishes were tasty and appealing. The garlic and lime(?) mayo was incredible and all served with oodles of focaccia and pitta bread.

Went here for a work do, and there's was a bartender who made the night for me, all I asked for was a surprise G&T and every single drink was delivered to perfection!

Walked in with my friend and my doggie. Went upstairs to find an outdoor area. How lovely … staff were very attentive , happy and genuinely concerned about our needs.
Food was DELICIOUS! I ordered Chicken roast . The BEST roast dinner ever! Wine and side order. PERFECT!

A really lucky find. Wandered around a double of places and then "settled" on Wine & Wallop. What a find?!
We both had the Sunday roast, and it's the best I've had for some time. Delightful beef, lovely potatoes and veg (all cooked in an interesting but unfussy manner) and and excellent Yorkshire pudding.

Great atmosphere, lovely staff; Roisin is fab! Tried the food today, vegan burger really lovely, my friends steak frites was great too. Drinks are well priced, and nice outside area too and dog friendly. 🥂
