Now called the Broomgate Cafe, good coffee, nice selection of cakes and light meals. The staff are friendly and helpful and seem to take an interest in their customers.

Prompt friendly service. Enjoyed crisp scones and coffee. A must pop in again type of place. I thought being pet friendly was a nice touch - so few places allow dogs in these days.

Regularly visit through my work, staff are amazingly patient and friendly. Very food with people with learning disabilities, and an amazing variation of foods to cover all diets, gluten free, vegan etc..
All foods are fresh, and I've never had any complants on servive. The cakes r a must try; especially if the boss lady's made strawberry and vanilla scones!

Highly recommend this wonderful tearoom for:
*Homemade everything
*Delicious specials (chorizo and cheddar quiche was to die for!)
*A very homely, personal welcome and inclusive atmosphere, including my mischievous wee baby boy
*The most lovely staff

Called into the Wallace tea rooms for a bite of lunch during a quick visit to Lanark. Fairly good menu and decided to go for the soup which was excellent, very tasty. Followed that up with coffee and home baked cake. The selection of cakes is terrific. Next time you are in Lanark you should definitely pop in. Recommended!

Certainly would recommend The Wallace Tea rooms to anybody for breakfast, lunch or afternoon teas the staff I would recommend also and the pleasant surroundings. Yes I have recommended this place to many people to go and have their tea or coffee with pleasant staff diffinantly worth a visit, as any tea room in Lanark.

Best tearoom in Lanark! Fabulous menu with the most amazing home baking and wonderful friendly staff. A lovely warm comfortable welcoming environment, everything freshly made to order and a great selection of Gluten Free/Vegetarian options catered for as well. Sit in or take away available.

A really nice tearoom tucked away at the bottom of lanark in one of the oldest parts of the town. Food is very good and the staff are helpful and friendly.

Having my dog with me on Dog Day Thursday was so good. He really enjoyed the water and biscuits supplied. I was well behaved too
