This is the place for the best coffee in Lancaster. It is so pleasant to sit either in or outside in the castle. Inside you are in an airy space within the walls. Outside you are in the sheltered castle courtyard. The scones are always my go-to good here but everything looks good. The staff are friendly and I have a loyalty card too.

Lovely food, would have like it warmed but tasted good otherwise. Got some lovely drinks. Matcha latte tasted great. Such a cosy cafe with great seating and tasteful interior. Great seating options. Overall, highly recommend!

Everything you come to expect from Atkinsons at this spacious outlet. Their own-roasted flat white and freshly baked flapjack were perfect for a mid morning call in.
