In the area on business and stumbled upon when walking about and decided to go in as looks very appealing from the outside.
Very attentive staff and what tastes like authentic food. The only slight disappointment was that the curry was made with chicken thigh when its usually breast meat in the asian restaurants I have frequented in the past. I understand the thigh holds more flavour but for the price i would have expected breast. Lovely meal all the same and wouldn't put me off going back. Veg spring rolls were great and the massaman curry was just as good.
My favourite restaurant ever. Service is always fanatic and the food is quite simply unbeatable. If you are in Lancaster even for just one day I would say that Blue Moon is the where you should eat. The portion sizes and very good and the sticky rice is phenomenal. The chefs are obviously very talented and as there is glass between the kitchen and restaurant (always a very good sign) you can see how expertly they prepare all the food. Fanatic and well worth a visit.
You can’t get higher quality Thai food near here than Blue Moon. Really great service too. Only down side was the draft through the entrance. Loved it.
Second visit:
1.5 hour wait for main. Food was delicious but not sure I would wait again.
The food here was excellent and the portions, despite the size was excellent. The kitchens were clean and the staff pleasant. The decor and ambiance was serene.
One of my favourite places to eat in Lancaster! Fresh, delicious food. The quality is insane for the price. Staff are so attentive. And you HAVE to try the Thai Iced tea! Wow. So sweet and delicious. Cocktails are very tasty but a little pricey. Lunch time deals are reasonable for a big portion at a good price.
All round excellent experience here - the staff were great and the food came out in good time and tasted very good.

Lovely food drink and atmosphere. Nice portion and great taste, affordable prices. Recommend the duck salad and weeping tiger beef. Tom yum soup bit spicy and salty for me. Nice dining experience!
Beautiful Thai eatery in the centre of Lancaster.
There is parking a little way down the street and a few stairs inside the venue. It was a little noisy when we ate otherwise it was beautiful, clean, well presented and the staff were very professional.
The prices are eye watering expensive for very simple food. Good food but I'm not sure worthy of the price tag.
My massaman curry with rice was 14 pounds! Annoyingly it was the best one I'd ever had.
I finished with deep fried ice cream which is divine and I highly recommend it.
So in summary, I'd say go there, order carefully, drink water, think about a set menu, and enjoy great food.
They have changed the menu, lots of my favorite dishes are now unavailable 😭 I miss crispy BBQ pork
