MADDOGLEP

Arrived in Lancaster to meet up with our lift to the North East. Had a few hours to kill and Casta spotted the "A" board advertising this cafe. Decided it was time for a Full English and coffee. Advertised at £8.95. A bit more than the local Spoons but nicer interior. They also have a side outdoor patio but it is another cool, grey mid August day! Additional seating upstairs. Order at the counter then food brought to the table. Fairly busy today. Accessible toilet downstairs...main loos upstairs. Food very well presented and far better quality than Spoons. Good sausage and bacon.

Had the toast here and omg I know it's just toast but was beautiful cuppers are beautiful and lovely location very helpful staff very fast service. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, by the time we went for lunch at 12.30, all the pies had sold out and it was a 15 minute wait for soup. We like Diggles and the food is always delicious and competitively priced but stock levels need more attention.

Nice town centre cafe for lunch or a quick coffee but when it's busy, it feels noisy and I found it difficult to hear our own conversations.

A fine local coffee shop with a very decent lunchtime menu. The service was prompt, the food was excellent and the tea was very good( not always true in big chain coffee shops)

We absolutely love Diggles. It is affordable and located in the city centre. The staff are polite and professional. Service is super quick. The menu is simple but, often simplest menus are the best! We love the outdoor seating. Breakfast buns are always a winner. The only criticism we have is smoking is allowed outside seating. If it wasn't for the smoking it would have been 5 stars.
