We had a Sunday roast with all the trimmings and it was very nice! Sticky toffee pudding was also the best I’ve had in a while.

The Unicorn is a must when in the area. Great hosts, a good range of beers, wines and spirits and an excellent food menu. Outside seating area and dog friendly too. Friday night chippy tea - they do takeaway - and the Sunday lunch is to die for.

Last time I visited was last year and the service was awful. Staff had called in sick due to being out the night before and they ran out of food on the carvery.
Visited today as I heard that it had reopened and was pleasantly surprised. Staff were friendly and helpful and from what I could see of the food it looked great. Ordered a pizza for my 11 year old and it was really nice.
The pub is in a great location for a country pub and would definitely visit again if it remains at this standard.

We had been recommended to eat here.
And we wasn't disappointed.
The restaurant was decorated nicely.
We enjoyed the variety of Gins on offer before our meal.
We had a starter and and main course.
We didn't have any more room for a dessert.
As a family group we chose different meals and we thoroughly enjoyed the food we have eaten.
The service was excellent and the staff very welcoming. We certainly will be back here the next time we're in the area.

Tremendous food and exceptionally friendly service. The food menu is varied and uses local produce too, and the drinks menu is extensive, especially gin. This is definitely worth a trip.
