We have been 3 times for lunch in 13 months. By chance the first time, and by choice on the other two occasions - when we journeyed 50 miles because the food and service was/is so good!

Beautiful place in an amazing little village. We arrived too late to eat (food ends to 2.30 on a Sunday) but we had lovely drinks, the cider on tap was wonderful.

Fabulous Special of Steak & Kidney Pie, delicious tender meat and such tasty gravy served with fat chips. Mmmm! Great carafe of red Argentine wine. Excellent service by a delightful team of staff.

This is a delightful hotel and restaurant. It dose have a small front garden area where you can enjoy a pint and sit with your dogs after exploring this very old village.

It has probably been forty years since I have been here and it is still such a beautiful setting. The garden and dining areas are fantastic and although I only stopped for a quick beer it was beautiful....

Very keen on this place. Have stayed a couple of times and been for drinks a few times recently. It's very stylish all round, drinks prices seem fair for the standard of the establishment. The outside areas are a particular highlight though, so well worth visiting on a sunny summer evening.

A real hidden gem. This is a beautiful pub, serving great food and lovely pints. The staff were fantastic, we will certainly be returning soon!

They kindly did fit us in very last minute on Easter Sunday after our lunch booking elsewhere was cancelled. There were no vegan options on the menu that day, which was a surprise, and a shame. However, they created something from their usual menu for me and it was delicious, especially the spiced bean cake for starters, which had a kind of tasty, light, tempura batter.
The rest of my party all enjoyed their meals too. Would recommend but also request some more veggie/ vegan options 🙏
