Buena Onda

If you haven’t visited this place or eaten here, you are missing out on something delicious! I visited Largs on vacation from the US and our family was taken in by the beauty of this seaside location and its hip vibe. The ambiance is festive, the food is delicious, the staff are incredibly kind and accommodating especially to my child who has food allergies (they were able to find something safe for him to enjoy). If I ever return to Largs, I will be back. If you are in Largs or are planning a visit, you’ll want to add this stop to your itinerary!

August 2023 We come back to eat here after last summers great experience and we were not disappointed! Same great service and delicious food! The staff was really friendly, helpful and welcoming! My sister in law doesn't speak much english and when the waitress noticed that she is a tourist, she was explaining everything even better and slow her speech down. That's an exceptional customer service and rarely seen this days! July 2022 Great experience from start to finish! Fantastic view from the terrace, good food and very welcoming staff! Even the coffee was really good (which is very rare in the UK) I was very pleased to find a place on a seafront with a Mediterranean inspiration! I felt a bit like we are on a proper holiday even if we just popped down for a day trip. We really enjoyed our lunch here and will be back again!

Great place that we've mistakenly avoided for years. It's a well maintained cafe/restaurant reminiscent of the 70's seaside caffs, but this one is not down at heel! I love the design and architecture. We had paella-for-two at £28 which we ate from the pan! A litte over cooked but tasty, so I've added our before and after pics below! Today was mild enough to sit outside, and not too windy, but there's plenty of room inside as well. You can't leave Largs without an icecream from Nardini's!

Absolutely blown away with the quality of the food and the staff. Lovely girl from Brazil /Ostrella ? (sorry!) served us and recommended the chicken skewers. Great choice ! There is a board of specials as well as the normal menu and everything I saw looked inviting. Well, apologies next….We ate outside and I so got into conversation with my neighbouring table I have only 1 photo to show of my wonderful meal. This was a lovely experience and I wholeheartedly recommend this gem of a restaurant. Lovely evening ☀️ I will be back soon with an update and more pics. Btw Buena Onda means Good Vibe…Appropriate name for a modern, passionate restaurant. Haste Luego 👍

Absolutely love visiting Buena Onda! Everywhere has their teething problems when they first open but this place has well and truly shown what it’s like to serve good food and quality service. I love trying out the specials and always love taking my young son to eat here. He makes a lot of mess but the staff are always so welcoming and understanding which is very rare.
