The perfect combination of a clean, well presented pub, but with dartboards, pool, TV and a friendly pub dog. At the moment the kitchens are being renovated so there is no food, but I will be back to test that as soon as the work is completed.
Fantastic pub with fantastic staff. They really do their best to make you feel welcome. Great range of drinks and activities - and they are super dog friendly! 5 stars!

Nice friendly pub with great food and a couple of real ales. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food served from lunchtime to evening on a Saturday. We ate at 15:30 and everything was lovely.

Had great sausage and mash. Very friendly Mine Host, who even lit the real fire for us. Recommend the Pink Gin.

Accommodating for a big group with no notice. Unfortunately it's prepackaged deserts after such lovely Dinners. Disappointed no allergy menu as a legal requirement but satisfied with the information they gathered for me. Will definitely be returning
Nice enough pub. Stayed here while in the area attending a friend's wedding. Our room (3) was not over spacious but a quite comfortable bed and a nice strong shower. Now, breakfast, not included in the price for the room, that was delicious. You have a choice of a five or eight item breakfast (eight item was £8-95)
Lovely pub with great friendly staff. Dog friendly and brought water out for the dog. Sunday roast was fabulous but wish I'd had the small portion as the standard was massive. Would definitely recommend this place👍👍
Popped in on a total impulse, what a great night. The landlord and staff made me feel very welcome. The pub itself was very clean and well presented. The clientele were friendly also. I didnt eat but would not be concerned about doing so next time. Overall a very pleasurable experience. Kirk
