We had a lovely lunch here. The food was very tasty and above all the service was absolutely brilliant. They are the friendliest people here, and I would return for that alone even if the food wasn't as wonderful as it is! It's a very comfortable enviroment with a variety of different seating. A gr
We can't comment on the hotel side as we weren't staying there. This review is purely about the restaurant side. We went here for an evening meal and enjoyed the experience. The menu was a bit limited but still provided a decent variation of choice. We had 3 courses and the food was well presented
Stopped by the hotel for lunch and it was great. Nice big car park with plenty of spaces. Had the boneless porkchops with mash and creamy mushroom sauce and black pudding fritters. Nice environment, friendly staff, and good quality food.
Good bar with very friendly staff
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the food was excellent! We had the sea bass, and it was cooked to perfection. Very nice establishment, and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Will definitely be back!
Food is beautiful and staff very friendly & helpful. Had a nice little stop here on a long drive, would highly recommend.
We stopped here on a Friday evening for a meal. They let us and our dog sit in the bar area which was a nice surprise. We had sea bass which was delicious and a lasagne which was pretty decent and definitely tasty(just needed a white sauce in my opinion). The thing that really makes this place 5 sta
Loved it here. We were stopping in the castle more or less behind the hotel, we went looking for a coffee shop that would let us take the dogs in. Nope n the end we ended up coming here three times and even having food on our final visit . I think what sold it for us, above the dogs being allowed in
Stopped for coffee and cake, very reasonable price
Really nice genuine welcome when you arrive in this immaculate hotel. We went for Sunday lunch and the dining area is really spacious with a gret rip roaring fire burning away to get you warm. The menu choice was outsanding and we chose 3 seperate main meals. All of which were superbly presented and
Always a warm welcome and great food.
