We went for Sunday lunch. We turned up on spec and although we were told it would be an hour, it took only 20minutes. The food was excellent and the service was very efficient.

So SO good. Biggest lobster I've ever seen in a restaurant and perfectly cooked along with melt in the mouth rib eye steak. Just perfect.

Stopped off for Sunday lunch today. The team very kindly squeezed us in as we didn’t book.

Stopped here yesterday for a few drinks and seeing as the sun was shining decided to have a few cocktails. Nice location was beautiful outside in the sun.

Had a really nice meal for two. Found the food and service to be excellent. Would recommend if you want something better than a pub meal without being too expensive.

You'll find the Portreeve Restaurant tucked out of the way,just off the main road through Laugharne.
Friendly atmosphere,can imagine this place buzzing before CoVid.
Welsh Steak and Ale pie was delicious and the Raspberry and White Chocolate Cheesecake was to die for.
Thoroughly recommend.

The service was exceptional, we sat outside for a drink on this visit as we had our dog with us. As it started to rain we were invited inside where we witnessed possibly the best customer service I've seen for people coming to dine inside and once it stopped raining people coming to dine outside. What a lovely place to visit. Staff friendly and helpful, although it was just open after lockdown, they did their utmost to make everyone welcome. Restrictions adhered to at all times. We popped in just for a drink, but wanted to return later in the week for a meal, sadly not to be, the others in our party made decided something else for us. Returning again soon, and the first port of call will be the Portreeve restaurant, for sure, the menu looks fabulous. Can't wait.
