Popped in for a couple of drinks and game of pool. Very warm and cosy. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely be calling back for food as it looked and smelt great.

This pub has been closed for a few weeks as previous owners left, we saw it was open and called in. So friendly. Due to just being open again limited menu for now but we all had delicious meals. Pool table inside and dogs welcome my son was so happy to see a pool table, we will definitely be going back. Highly recomend

We had a meal in the evening here. The welcome was super friendly and the service was great. Food was exactly as pub grub is supposed to be - well cooked, very tasty, filling, and reasonably priced. Couldn't fault it. Two meals and alcoholic drinks for around £27 is great value.

Literally just finished dinner and it was lovely.
Batter on the fish was amazing!
Lasagne was very very nice.
Ladies are really friendly.
If we're down this way again, this will definitely be the place to eat.

We came for Sunday Roast sadly without a reservation. BUT the amazing staff found a table for us in the bar area. We had the three meat platter. The food was flavorful and probably one of the best Sunday Roast we have had.
Make a reservation!! You will enjoy it.
