Nice food and great coffee. We had a Pad Thai and a Stir fried rice as main dish and vegetable dumplings as entree, all good. Also staff very friendly.

This is my favorites "cheap and cheery" restaurant in Launceston.
Never fails.
I had an amazing duck red curry and the pork dumplings were the best I've had.
It is so popular with a regular flow of people coming in to get take out.

The whole experience was uninspiring.
Spring rolls and curry puffs were very nice and certainly warming on a cold morning.
However, the Thai beef salad was not much more than lots of lettuce, a few bits of beef, a couple of baby tomatoes and a drenching of a fish sauce dominated dressing.
The coffee was very good but I was not given the option of a cup or a mug.
The waitress looked as if she would rather have been elsewhere.
It pains me to write a bad review, as most of mine are 4 or 5 stars but Buddha Thai well and truly missed the mark the day I ate there.

I love the spicy noodles. Spicy noodles, spicy noodles, spicy noodles. The other items not so good in my opinion. Again Asian food here tend to be on the 'sweet' spectrum which not great with me. Maybe the locals love it sweet?

Amazing Thai, I eat here every time I visit Launceston. Have tried many of the dishes and all are fantastic! Very quick service and a lovely little restaurant space. Easy, yummy, and healthy. Takeaway options also. Definitely recommend!!

Truly the worst Thai we've ever had. My wife's Pad Thai was totally overcooked. My jungle curry was the same plus the curry was basically water. The chicken was dry. Truly regret purchasing from here.

Great casual restaurant, friendly, fast and efficient service. Very quaint building. Great tasty food. It’s a BYO. Steps into building. There are tables on footpath, so wheelchair friendly. Street parking. Roti Bread a must. The Mango Coconut Rice is so tasty.

All meals were completely tasteless, the beef in cashew nut sauce was pretty much served in flavourless brown water with very little meat . The salt and pepper squid had no seasoning and cost $11.00 for a third of a small paper bag. The Chilli Basil rice was basically fried rice with a few large pieces of broccoli and cauliflower added to a normal fried rice for an extra $9. GIVE THEM A MISS. There is alot of great places to dine in Launceston, Buddha Thai is NOT one of them
