Really friendly, cosy, relaxed cafe. Awesome menu, we only had breakfast but wish we could go back for other meals. The food was pretty perfect and as we were making the most of eat out to help out it was incredible value, would pay full price if we go back again though, it was that yummy.
Take away Breakfast today for 4 hungry workmen, they were delighted. Freshly cooked, served in cardboard trays which kept the food nice and hot while I delivered it. Wish I had ordered one for myself, it looked delicious!!
Amazing independent coffee house with good food and snacks. We had flat whites and they were outstanding. The Web site says they are only doing take away but we were pleased to find that it was fully open with good covid-19 measures in place.
A really lovely little cafe. Very welcoming with plenty of seating. We had an excellent cooked breakfast there and my flat white was super and obviously prepared by someone who knows their coffee. First class!

We stopped here about half way through a hot tough day while riding towards Lands End.
No 8 could not have been more hospitable and welcoming and the food was equally delicious and filling. In fact, it was everything we wanted and needed from a much needed break.
The only negative was I heard our waiter telling another table that he was a West Ham fan. I suppose you can't have everything.
Keep up the great work and we hope to be back one day.
Lovely small café, restaraunt and tea room with a small but quality menu yet still had large portion sizes. I had a burger with tomatoes, gerkins, rocket and burger sauce topped off with fried onions and a side portion of chips which cake with the burger which was very tasty. Good place to take family friends partners and other people you like. It was very good service and we were served quickly. The tables were all cleaned thoroughly and you were asked to wait by the door and wear a mask whilst being shown to your table, we were also asked to sanitise our hands which is very good considering the current situation.
I stopped here for a sandwich and an iced Americano and everything was delicious. Excellent coffee, wonderful sandwich with tasty, crispy grilled bacon, super-fresh soft bread with a crust and served with the crispiest sautéed new potatoes. Very friendly yet unobtrusive service. Highly recommend this lovely local cafe.

A nice touch in the summer months is being able to sit at the front of the cafe with the large windows open to the street - perfect for people watching!
Number 8 is a great cafe. I frequent it regularly and it's consistently good with excellent food and a friendly welcome. Great coffee, good service and a chilled relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended

One of my 2 favourite Cafes in Launceston. Yummy food and smoothies and we had places to be seated with dog. I really enjoyed staying here during my stay in Launceston.
Really good food, excellent beverages, tea and especially the coffee. Very helpful waitresses and staff produce a warm atmosphere. Children welcomed and dog friendly.
