No.8 Cafe Launceston

Lovely small café, restaraunt and tea room with a small but quality menu yet still had large portion sizes. I had a burger with tomatoes, gerkins, rocket and burger sauce topped off with fried onions and a side portion of chips which cake with the burger which was very tasty. Good place to take family friends partners and other people you like. It was very good service and we were served quickly. The tables were all cleaned thoroughly and you were asked to wait by the door and wear a mask whilst being shown to your table, we were also asked to sanitise our hands which is very good considering the current situation.

We stopped here about half way through a hot tough day while riding towards Lands End. No 8 could not have been more hospitable and welcoming and the food was equally delicious and filling. In fact, it was everything we wanted and needed from a much needed break. The only negative was I heard our waiter telling another table that he was a West Ham fan. I suppose you can't have everything. Keep up the great work and we hope to be back one day.

I stopped here for a sandwich and an iced Americano and everything was delicious. Excellent coffee, wonderful sandwich with tasty, crispy grilled bacon, super-fresh soft bread with a crust and served with the crispiest sautéed new potatoes. Very friendly yet unobtrusive service. Highly recommend this lovely local cafe.
