Delightful little cafe with an absolutely superb range of #glutenfree choices , all freshly baked, in the cafe, daily .
Very Comfortable , with a very homely atmosphere , attentive service.
I found it by chance a few days ago on a visit to Launceston and popped in for a toasted tea cake , and coffee, both of which were delicious. I promised to go back soon with my hubby and we visited on Thursday and partook of gluten free cornish cream tea. The scones were absolutely melt in the mouth . Ray always makes it clear when he enjoys his food - and to quote ‘ the best scone I have ever eaten’. I would agree ( and we will be going back for a lunch another time 😍).
Many thanks to the lovely owners for having created this wonderful place . It’s most unusual to find a cafe or indeed any eatery that caters so well for those of us with gluten intolerance or coeliac . I’ve attached a couple of photos of the food and the cafe . 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ but why take my word for it when you could visit yourself.
Also an excellent choice of #vegetarian and #vegan food ( though all appetites and food tastes are catered for . Looking forward already to our return visit soon.
We arrived abit late on a Sunday afternoon but the staff still helped us out with a little meal before our journey home they were really friendly and the food was tasty and excellent quality 😋😋
Small 1930s style decor cafe. However the best thing by far is the food. Reasonably priced, high quality, freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. Will definitely be coming back. Dog friendly too!
We had an absolutely wonderful breakfast - a proper cafe with gorgeous food (the fried bread is a must for breakfast lovers). The staff are friendly and make sure everything is ok for all of the party! Even bringing treats for our pup. Would highly recommend visiting. They also have movie screenings for children!
I had a Cornish all day breakfast and the wife had a Brie & Cranberry Baguette with teas. Small cafe, attentive service, tasty food at a very reasonable price! Recommended!
Had a lovely breakfast, the dog was spoilt. Excellent service and food, will definitely visit again when we are next in the area.
We popped in out of the rain and where instantly comforted to a bright and welcoming greeting from the hosts. Although initially with only the thought of a coffee & to wait for the rain to subside, my partner and I couldn't help but to look and then order from the menu, and I'm so glad we did.
The food we received was absolutely fantastic!
We only chose simple lunchtime fayre but the quality of the ingredients absolutely shone, way above any other cafes I've been to in many a year.
Many thanks to the owners of Red Chair Cafe for making what was a very wet few days in Cornwall...very memorable in the end.
Found this place on our first visit to Launceston today. Wanted to support an independent cafe and so pleased we found the Red Chair. Menu good, something for everyone with a specials board too. Clean and welcoming. Superb food, good sized portions. Will definitely go back when we are in the area.
Charming tearoom in the heart of a very interesting old county town. Excellent teacakes and delicious Earl Grey tea with rose petals. Dog friendly and great service.
Best gluten free mince pie I've ever had and I've tried a few. Popped in just for a takeaway tea and was met by the friendly owners and an array of gluten free cakes. The atmosphere was lovely. Clean and spacious. I will definitely be returning with the family, if I must. 😉The menu looks great with a wide range of meals and snacks for various dietary requirements. I haven't got any pictures as I ate it so quickly 😋Thank you.
