Me and my wife stumbled across this place yesterday on a drive, lovely place good food and beer and fantastic customer service
What a pleasure to find a pub that was able to provide a full roast dinner that was wheat/gluten and dairy free, they also provide wheat free bread and batter for cod, I'm intolerant where wheat and diary are concerned and they really accommodated me, I will definitely go back and the food was lovely :-)
Had lunch there today for first time. Went with mum and dad and fiance. Literally couldn't fault the place. Friendly staff all made us feel welcome. Food all came out piping hot and cooked to perfection. All very sensibly priced. And all were delicious. Def be back here again soon pity it's not nearer us or would be there all the time. Top job team.
My husband and I popped in for a couple of drinks this evening and can highly recommend this pub. The beer was delicious, the Malbec was excellent and the service was fantastic. This is a proper village pub with a great atmosphere and really friendly faces behind the bar. We will definitely be returning very soon.
Ladies and gents, anyone that follows knows I'm honest, if not sometimes brutal but by eck, I've been bamboozled by friendship and good ale. We came in here as a duo, within minutes, we were a trio and so on. The bar staff are phenomenal, not just in making you feel at home but serving quality ale. Then comes the weird part, ya all know I'm a northerner but these southern patrons opened the fold and we meandered right in. The ales are crisp and clear, the staff are above what they need to be but the patrons turn this pub into home and for that I highly recommend you take the time to call here for a pint or 3

We rocked up at The Horseshoe in Lavendon without a prior booking. The staff were very friendly and helpful and were able to fit us in for their Sunday lunch. We had the slow cooked brisket which was served with vegetables and a large Yorkshire pudding, the roast potatoes were delicious and all three of us cleared our plates completely.
Delicious food and we will certainly be happy to eat here again 😋

Went for Sunday lunch. Food was fab, we had the porchetta, beef brisket and a steak. Staff lovely. Was very busy and great to see the pub after its refurb. Well done to the new owners and team.
We called in for a quick drink on the way home from Milton Keynes, what a great looking pub it was the wine was fantastic the wife says and I enjoyed my pint

I haven't eaten here but the food looks amazing. The staff are awesome and really welcoming and they do hawkestone lager here which is amazing
Amazing hosts, cosy and refurbished through out, the highest quality food and the attention to quality real ale makes for a must visit addition to Lavendon.
