What a gem this place is! We had a lovely seafood chowder with a warm bread bun topped with melted cheese and onion - yummy! My husband's mango and hibiscus and orange and cardamon ice creams were delicious. Would definitely recommend eating in the cafe upstairs! x

I had delicious bouillabaisse; my partner has a local ham and blue cheese omelette. Then we shared excellent banana cake with an experimental stra

Sweet Meats is a friendly tiny quirky tea room and sweet shop in Lavenham. The home cooked menu is extensive, original and provides a good selection of tasty vegetarian dishes and desserts. The jazzy background music is very soothing and overall it is a surprising venue and overall experience.

We stopped by to have ice cream. I was so pleased when I saw that there was blue bubblegum ice cream. I've been looking for it in different towns and this is the first place I that had it in about 20 different ice cream shops. It was delicious. My party also had pistachio and rum raisin. We all enjo
Very quaint and nostalgic, had a lovely cappuccino and hot choc today and will definitely return for some food sometime. Menu looked interesting and the sweetshop part downstairs had many childhood favourites on offer. Only a 4 star as we didn't eat, but I'm sure that will change.
