Brilliant pub. Immediately welcomed when we came in and shown to a table so that we could watch the live football (unfortunately our team lost). Had a very good value excellent meal. Stayed for the superb City Limits live band. Friendly, happy and lively atmosphere.

We had the rump of lamb with garlic and rosemary and duck fat roasted potatoes. Wow!!!! Cooked to perfection!! Definitely recommend. Super staff, pleasant and so attentive. Great pub for sport. Own car park. Will definitely be coming back.

Booked a table for a meal, as we were going to watch the match,and we were glad we had. It was a bit of a trek,as we were staying in the town but well worth the effort. The staff were great and really efficient, the food was fantastic and as an additional bonus, there was a band on so we stayed an extra couple of hours to see them. Definitely worth a visit.
