I was recommended to try this place by a couple of people I know from work as they both said the food was beautiful and the customer service first class. After trying it for the first time myself tonight me and my family couldn't agree more. The three guys were super friendly and the service was beyond first class and you could see they took pride in the work they do. Everything was cooked all fresh and the food was delicious. If your looking for a great chippy then look no further.

I did not know the place but it had a good evaluation on google, so I tried! I would probably say it is one of the best takeaway fish and chips I tried! I had to wait few more minutes to collect my food but it’s understandable considering how crowded the place was when I arrived there (7:15PM on Friday). After this great meal, I understand why they are so busy! 😅

Unapologetic Me

GLUTEN FREE FISH AND CHIPS. Couldn't be happier. Great you can ring in advance or a 15-20 mins wait which it's definitely worth. In my opinion it's the best place in town. I've never been disappointed, (except one time when they were closed and I had to go elsewhere) The portions are always generous and both fish and chips taste fresh and batter is light and crispy, not overly greasy. (Not all the chips are on the plate as there were so many it would of over filled it) They take great care with handling and labelling everything that's gluten free and have a dedicated frier to stop any risk of cross contamination. I have never had issues after eating from there after a good few years so I would highly recommend Sealand Fish Bar.

Ok. Fish good quality and was decent size, chips were well cooked. Just lacked the “real chippy” crispy battered cod element. I’d still give it a 7.5 out of ten though! They’re licensed too!

I would normally score higher for this fish bar but on this occasion which was last Friday, I have dropped 2stars as it wasn't up to it's normal rating of between 4 to 5 stars.

Decent chippy. Nice and fresh. Regularly have food from here all sorts of varieties, sausages, kebabs, fish.. all have been very nice. Lovely staff but James is my favourite 🙂

I visited the fish shop this evening and was very impressed. We had a click and collect. Easy enough to arrange and helps keep contact to a minimum. The fish was tasty, not oily and the batter was just right. The chips were soft on the inside whilst the skin was judged to perfection. We really enjoyed this and will be going back. Fantastic.
