A truly great Thai restaurant at the rear of The Plough pub. Staff are lovely & welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the satay chicken & tempura prawns to start and the Penang curry to follow. Book in advance as it is always really busy. It was full on a Thursday evening. Adults only.
Met up with my brother and sister in law for first time in 3 years. Able to have a relaxed conversation in very pleasant surroundings and enjoy delicious food with excellent service. We had a 2 hour time slot which was fine. No adverse comments to make.
Dined in here early in the last week and found it to be all round excellent both food and staff. Wanted to come back and dine in again but circumstances did not allow. However we had takeaway another night and our observations about the standard of food and the excellence of the staff , including AJ and servers, was reinforced. Highly recommended again.
Excellent food, came very quickly and the staff were helpful and friendly. Nice range if drink and a clean neat looking out side area. Food was tasty, and hearty. I had the tiger crying dish which was a steak based dish and was very mourish and cooked well.
BE WARNED kitchen closes at 2.30 so we booked for 2pm and was not an ideal time as we had to rush a little in ordering but the quality of the food kept this review at 5 stars.
Food was very good. I had dumplings to start and a massaman curry. Lots of individual flavours evident and combined well. The service was equally as good. Most importantly, it was consistent across the 3 or 4 staff members who helped us through the evening.
We came here today on our way back from Gatwick Airport. The Plough is a lovely pub not far from the M25. Their outdoor area is very cozy and inviting. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the staff, the lady behind the bar was more interested in attending her friends than serving other customers and her attitude was rather rude. Restaurant staff that served our food was friendly and helpful.
The food was very tasty. We did not expect much from Thai food, which was served in a pub, but the restaurant really surprised us. It seems to be independent but under the same roof of the pub, so it does make sense and is a refreshing concept compared to otherwise rather dull pub food served elsewhere. Prices were very reasonable for the huge portions they served us. I'd recommend the restaurant 100% and while the pub itself is great as well, its staff needs some lessons in hospitality.
We’ve been meaning to visit for ages as the pub/restaurant are just 5 mins away! Very pleased we finally booked. The pub was very nice with comfy seating outside. The Thai behind the pub was fabulous, the staff friendly & the decor smart. We won’t be leaving it so long until our next visit - maybe just 24 hours🤣
I loved the experience from start to end. The staff were friendly and attentive but without being intrusive. The food was amazing and the restaurant was beautiful with a nice calm atmosphere. We were lucky enough to be able to sit in the open air. Plenty of parking. Would definitely go back.
Lovely food and always well looked after, but the tables seem placed so that there's always someone walking behind me.
Cute little pub with nice indoor and outdoor seating. Food was very good. It all was all tasty and fresh. We shared 2 mixed platters to start and I had a beef massaman for mains, would definitely recommend. Staff were friendly. Car park is a bit awkward to get into being just off a roundabout though. Also, the kitchen is closed from 2-6pm so make sure you get there early enough or for the dinnertime menu instead.
