The Star - Leatherhead - Photo album

The pub/family restaurant has a great layout of open space at the back, front and inside. Looks tiny from the outside but as a former school you know how spacious it can be. The Chicken Caesar salad I had was good however, it was flooded with the white sauce. It almost felt like cold soup at one p
6 of us booked for Sunday lunch, attentive staff from arrival to leaving without being rushed.Good ale, excellent food, presented well and hot. looked to be very family and dog friendly. Thank you
Very delicious meal , friendly staffs&attentive.Nice decoration and dog friendly. Highly recommended.
We went here for dinner after going to Chessington World of Adventure. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Food was amazing and there was a good gluten free selection for my wife. We both had the ribs and the meat fell off the bone and had loads of flavour. Everyone had a good size portion
Great pub with good food. The pub exterior looks smaller than its enormous interior and the staff are all welcoming and attentive. Plenty of parking outside, easy road access and equally easy access for the mobility challenged. Met up with very good old friends here and the orders were varied from l
Hadn’t been here for a while. Nice to see the place packed and so many staff working at this pub. Food was great, had the vegan burger & dessert. The waitress was super sweet and always keeping an eye on her tables. The dog enjoyed her doggie biscuits too. 😄
Amazing food, dog friendly and excellent gin selection. We liked it so much we then went onto have our wedding reception there. Great parking too.
We went for our son's birthday and found that two other tables had a birthday group too. It was very busy when we arrived so I suggest that you book a table in advance. The service was slower because of the amount of people at one time but the waiters were very apologetic and had a good sense of hum
As it’s just off the M25 this makes for a great alternative to the Cobham services, if you have the time. A good welcome, nice, basic pub-grub food and lager, dog friendly in the area just inside the main entrance which is nice. Car park is always busy yet you can find a space so not an issue.
Been here quite a lot over the years! Today's evening meal was tasty and better than when I last visited and consequently went from 3 stars to 4. Good and friendly service. I was dining on my own and was well looked after. A good spot for walkers & cyclists, with plenty of lovely walks around.
Its my mums birthday today and her and my dad had booked to go for lunch at the Star as its their favourite place. I live a long way away but wanted to do something special as i couldn't be there, so i called up and without much notice the staff were more than happy to arrange a little something. Th
Great service, friendly staff. The menu was very appealing with a wide variety of choices. Our waiter was very informative giving us a detailed explanation of food and drink choices. The food didn’t disappoint, fresh, tasty and generous serves.
Unfortunately both my husband choice and my choice were off the menu. So we went for the satay sticks which as usual were perfect. Then he had mushroom wellington and i had a side salad . The Wellington was lovely. The side salad consisted of chopped onion, cherry tomatoes rocket and baby leaf mix.
Fantastic experience at this pub. What sets them apart is the staff - from when we were welcomed to when we left they were all so friendly, went beyond expectations and made us feel super comfortable. They even treated the little ones with so much respect. The setting was also brilliant. On the hott
Such a great pub to visit, especially if you're visiting Chessington! 6 of us had the most delicious meal, in a great setting for kids (lovely pub garden with play area). The service was a little slow but likely due to the sunny climate! We'd definitely visit again, highly recommend
Really really really nice chicken and rib combo. Had the garlic and her dough balls to start also and they were nice. Was disappointed with the apple crumble as there wasn't much apple, and the crumble was a bit well done. Lovely outdoor seating area at both front and back. Little booth/huts which h
It was great, the food was lovely, the garden was clean and tidy and had a new play area for the children, and the staff were fantastic..
