First visit to Zen Garden last night. Only had a take out but the food is absolutely fantastic. Best Chinese we have ever tasted. Can't believe it's been under our noses all this time but now we know its there, we'll definitely be going back.
Excellent Chinese food. Excellent service. HIGHLY recommended. Only ever has take away from here but inside seems lovely & calm. Will go here to eat in at some point. The food is wonderful.

Went as a surprise birthday meal and was treated to a superb feast. Could just have the starters as the choice was very good and everything was freshly cooked and piping hot. The desert came out to the sounds of "Happy birthday" which was a nice surprise and an example of the custorer cafe the Ivan extends to all his customers. Will definitely be back. Thanks Ivan and team.

Enjoyed another top class tribute evening at Zen Garden last night. This time it was Tom Jones and at £35 a head it offered excellent value. The food was excellent as always and the staff efficient and courteous. We all had a fantastic time.

The best Chinese restaurant I have ever been to! I’ve been coming here for years with my family and we absolutely love it. The staff are beyond lovely; they are so friendly and accommodating, truly superb customer service. The food is outstanding; there is a massive variety to choose from, and the food is always fresh and tasty. I recommend the Beef with Black Bean and Garlic Sauce, or the Chicken with Mushrooms, and for dessert the Toffee Banana is excellent. I cannot recommend this place enough and hope to continue coming here for many years to come!

I've been using Zen Garden since 2006 ( so even before it was actually Zen Garden - remember Pang's Villa! ) and have found it to be generally very good Chinese food, whether eat-in or takeaway. That said, in the very early days it was a bit hit-and-miss.
However, I wanted to finally write a review, as over the years I think Ivan and his team have worked wonders at improving the service and quality to superb levels. Our meal last night was absolutely sublime, and I'd like to thank him, the chef and everyone involved for the standards they now seem to be setting.

We went to Zen Garden for the first time on Monday 3/04/2023 aka yesterday evening, we had a brilliant time, amazing food and excellent customer service. We definitely will be bringing more of our friends and family here to dine in.
