We revisited the Running Horse for the first time for quite a while, and this charming pub has not lost none of its charm. We were warmly greeted by the management, and were extremely well looked after by Cindy who was a very nice lady.
The beer was great, and the food was absolutely delicious, and we would certainly recommend it.

Had a lovely Saturday fish and . Gorgeous hidden garden and lovely landlady too. Do not change anything PLEASE . Will definitely come back
We had a lovely home cooked food. My son had a burger and my daughter and I had a roast. The staff were welcoming and friendly and attentive. It had a lovely friendly atmosphere and the pub is full of character. Just a few steps from the river. A real hidden gem. Will definitely be back.
Stopped off here at the end of a walk and enjoyed a beer. Great historic pub with a good selection of real ales, friendly staff and a nice beer garden. Sadly wasn't serving food when we went even though the website said they would at that time, which was disappointing. I look forward to going back.

Perfect, just what a traditional pub should be. Friendly staff and reasonably priced drinks. Only popped in for a quick drink, will go back to try the food.
Amazing experience!! Pork cheese, homemade focaccia bread, fish and chips and sticky toffee pudding were all incredible, as was the service. Totally recommend!
Lovely pub garden, great little suntrap for a drink and/or food with friends and family.
