8 of us had our lunch here yesterday, and we all agreed that this place is going to take some beating!!! Huge portions, all fabulously prepared, and quite possibly the best roast potatoes I've ever had! Completely faultless in every way. £18.00 for a meal of that calibre is an absolute bargain.
Wonderful building, full of character, really efficient and friendly staff, and amazing food. You really need to treat yourself and eat here, you will not be disappointed. A solid 10/10.

The food here was out of this world! I had the beef stew with dumplings and they were the lightest dumplings I've ever tasted. My husband had curry and he couldn't stop raving over it. There was plenty of it. The atmosphere and service was very good too. It's a pity we live so far away as I reckon it would your local.

I had a lovely evening meal at the trout with family the other day. Food was lovely and service was fantastic. Nothing was too much for our waitress Lily and we were made to feel very welcome. Will definitely be back soon.

It's a very old World Pub 👌
Food is very good cooked to order.

Fantastic. I brought my elderly father with me after cruising around the Cotswolds with Simply Mustangs UK and we were very impressed with the service and the food. The Ham egg and chips was excellent and HUGE portions 10/10

Lovely pub and the music was very good too. We had Sunday lunch here and it was amazing 😻 sooo much to eat! Loads of beef, 2 Yorkshire puddings, red cabbage, roast and creamed spuds, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, gravy yum yum couldn't eat it all though but they supplied doggy bags too!!

The Trout has a fantastic position right next to the river Thames. It has a large beer garden with plenty of tables and food is brought out to anyone wishing to make the most of the nice weather and dine outside.
Inside the bar and restaurant area are cosy and quaint.
Food is competitively priced and some lovely vegetarian options on the menu.

Stopped here for an evening meal with friends, haven't been here for probably 35+ years. Nice to see that the decor hadn't changed too much and still retained it's rustic feel and has not been modernised.
Food was fantastic with huge portions and served promptly. Staff were equally very friendly and polite.
Definitely return here again if we're in the area.
