We ate in the restaurant bit. Noisy due to extraction fan. Then some toddlers arrived too!

We decided to eat in. Although they were very busy at the front of the shop, we didn't have to wait long before our order was taken by a friendly staff member. Not too long before our meal turned up either-a delicious plate of fish & chips, not greasy, just yummy.

Went there this evening and asked if the restaurant section was open. It wasn't but they turned on the lights, sat us down and we had a fantastic meal. The food was superb and the staff just couldn't have been friendlier. This is by far and away the best fish and chip shop in the area.

Always freshly fried fish with very thin, light and crisp batter.. very generous portions.. they make most delicious house salads..

Have to say they have the best cod and chips 😋
Not greasy, burnt, shrivelled up or hard. Soft and fluffy on the inside and just the right amount of crispness on the outside. The cod is of equal light crispness. Quite the opposite of the normal heavily battered fish.
Definitely worth a visit ☺ Grab a bench to sit on and relax while watching the world go by at the seaside. Whilst munching on a delicious 🐡 n 🍿 n 🧋 😁👍
