Great place to come to have something to eat and drink as you watch the planes at Daedalus, great food and excellent friendly staff
We cycled to Cafe At Zero 5 this morning from Gosport. We had lovely baguettes and really nice coffee. A great friendly place to relax and watch the planes and helicopters. We will definitely be going back soon.
Great freshly cooked breakfast x2, really tasty. It's a noisy room, wooden floors, when the boiler is operating, you cannot hear yourself speak. The chairs could do with some sort of cushioning material on the base of the legs. But as I say the food was top quality and at a really reasonable price.
Very lovely caffee! Excellent carrot cake + cappuchino, always greeted with a smile, and watching airplanes at the same time! ... what else could anyone wish for!
Eas very impressed with the food. Staff were very friendly. And you can watch small planes land. Wheelchair parking available
Good coffee with a lovely view of the air field, very interesting to watch the planes. The bacon roll lacked enthusiasm, no butter and two bits of bacon in there. Not bad for the price but just a bit lack lustre.
Great place for a cuppa and something to eat that's different. Where else can you look out of the window and be 10 feet away from a spitfire. The cafe is very new and clean. There's a good choice of light meals. The sausage roll I ordered was a good size and freshly cooked for the order. There is an outdoor area with seating and good views over the airfield, ideal for the warm days. There are toilets in the cafe which were very clean. Overall, it is a very different place from the usual cafes in town and well worth a visit.
I love coming here with my two sons there's always some activity on the airfield and the staff friendly.
Update: this place is still just as great as before. Staff are always kind and friendly. Nice a relaxed atmosphere and always something to see in the airfield.
Free parking and nice clean cafe. Good value for money meals and a nice coffee. Plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor. They cater for children Come for the views if you like aircraft.
My son loves helicopters and aeroplanes, so this is the perfect place for him. I can enjoy a coffee as he points to the sky. I feel especially lucky when the Spitfire is visiting.
Lovely little cafe at the end of the runway, you'll likely see plenty of light aircraft taking off and landing if the weather is good.
Most excellent service, great seating outside so you can just take a seat and watch the aircraft taxi to A1 to carry out pre take off checks, then, line up and take off on Runway 05.
