What an amazing experience. Being a coeliac I'd heard about this place and how great it was and all the while everything on the menu is totally gluten free. The food was just superb. Some of the best I've had and after a starter, main and sharing the amazing tiramisu, I felt very well fed. Friendly staff and service. What a great find. Highly recommended for anyone but just coeliacs. Thank you for a memorable meal. We'll definitely be back.
Fabulous gluten free restaurant in Leeds. The restaurant is not too big so doesn't get too noisy and it has really gorgeous, quirky décor so feels very cosy. The food was absolutely delicious and it's wonderful that everything is gluten free - a great place for coeliacs. It's just slightly out of the main city centre so we walked a little way to get to it, but this makes it a bit more peaceful as it's not right in the busiest part of the city.
Lovely intimate dining experience, the service was great very attentive and the food came quick between courses. Excellent that the whole menu is gluten free so you can order anything which is a refreshing change! The taste wasn’t compromised either which you find sometimes with gluten free food. I’d highly recommend the chicken, bacon and mushroom pie it was delicious! My only criticism if you could even call it that was the portion sizes were slightly too big but someone else might disagree. Overall lovely night out!
Absolutely fantastic meal!
My husband is gluten free and has been wanting to try The Oxford Place for a while. I am not gluten free, however every aspect of the meal was beautiful! We had mains and desserts (the main portions were rather large, much to our delight!) I had the chicken pie and chips which was lovely, and my husband had the burger, which he said was the best gluten free burger he's ever had!
We then finished with the trillionaires tart, a vanilla cheesecake and a pot of loose leaf tea. All were absolutely perfect.
As well as fab food, the restaurant itself is lovely and cosy with fairy lights at the window, and lovely service from the waiter too :-)
We will definitely be eating here again!
Exceptionally good gluten-free food. Service was professional and quick. The waiter made sure our glass was never empty at any point throughout the evening.
Recommended.
Dinner out to celebrate a friend’s birthday, we chose this mutually although both aren’t gluten intolerant. What a gem of a place! Small, intimate and friendly. The place is spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and homely! The waiter was friendly, but not invasive, discreetly distance but close to hand and observant! The food was magnificent! I had Arancini for starters, my friend had chicken and chorizo kebab, followed by Fish and chips, chicken and mushroom pie and onion rings! Word of warning the portions are large so don’t over do the starters! Or the onion rings, enough in one portion I think for two people. The mains were magnificent! Crisp well cooked batter on my fish and the pie was amazing! Full marks and we will be back again. Thanks
Really wonderful independent restaurant. The food and service were both excellent. These starters were all absolutely brilliant. Forgot to take pictures of the mains and deserts! The fact its 100% gluten free is the cherry on top. Coeliacs have so few really trustworthy places to eat.
We visited here last weekend and by chance. The food was lovely and all gluten free, the restaurant is cute and cosy and the service great.
Absolutely fantastic gluten free meal, one of the best I've ever had. The wife was over the moon that should could order anything off the menu being gluten intolerant! Will be back for sure.
Such amazing food and service! Entirely gluten free, it's really cosy inside and has a vintage decor style :) Highly recommend a visit even if you wouldn't normally eat gluten free!
