I love Yard & Coop!! Always have done since they launched in Manc. My first visit to the Leeds restaurant did not disappoint. I literally cannot fault the evening. Incredible food, spot on service and a great atmosphere. Really decent portions too and the house lager is a lovely drop.
The mates rates card is a brilliant idea which will encourage me to keep coming back. Love having a cheeky discount, especially on a weekend. Anyone can sign up on the website and you get 20% off any day of the week.
I'm already craving more food..... thanks for making our night so good!

Having travelled from Leeds to Manchester just to go to Yard & Coop I was delighted when they finally opened here. Pleased to say the great atmosphere, service and food & drink hasn't suffered when coming over the Pennines.
Jasmin looked after us really well and made my birthday experience very memorable. The afternoon tea was a quirky twist on the usual sandwiches and buns. You don't get to choose sauces like you would normally but what's given is really good. The starter samplers were nice and, being vegetarian offerings, not things I'd normally pick.
So why 4 stars and not 5? Well I usually save 5 for something truly amazing, Michelin level or unique but I'd have given a 5 here had it not been for the sweet stuff. Sadly the brownies were dry and the buns seemed like the kind of thing you'd get in a pack from a supermarket. A shame as everything else seems to ooze passion, I'd have preferred something a bit more homemade.
All this said for the price paid, the other levels of food, ambience and service consider this a 4.5.

Amazing food, great service - perfect for a chill date night!
My boyfriend ordered the plate meal where you choose what chicken, sauce and chips you want and I opted for chicken strips and chips and they were both huge portions for the price which was amazing.
The onion rings are a must! All round a great experience, highly recommend if you love chicken!

By far the best new place I've been to in Leeds in a long while. The staff were fantastic and the food was excellent. I'd absolutely recommend the gunpowder chicken, bang bang cucumber, and salt and pepper fries. Great atmosphere, with an eclectic playlist. Drinks are a tad pricey, but that's to be expected!

Very friendly and attentive staff. Happy to chat or leave you alone as desired. Food was surprisingly good, considering it's 'just chicken'. I upgraded my fries to salt and pepper Chinese style fries and they were delicious. The mac and cheese on the side was particularly scrumptious. Would have had it as a main. Not sure I'd eat here in the evening. Feels more like a lunchtime place. But top draw nonetheless.

First time and not the last! Blown away by the friendly service (think our server was called laura) and nothing was too much trouble. Food was comforting and tasty and drinks menu caters for all occasions. Cant reccomend enough!

Excellent food... Not bad portion sizes too.

Great chickan, great service, cool.place. Only dissapointment was the salt n pepper, its a wet sauce rather than the dressing the chicken was fried in. Still lovely, especially the SnP wings...but avoid putting on the fries as they go a bit soggy. Otherwise was banging...😎

This place is ace. Situated somewhere I never knew existed because I never slow down enough when powerwalking through one end of Leeds city centre to the other, this little restaurant is an absolute gem.
If you love chicken, you're in the right place, as the name suggests. Although you might think "but Lauren, isn't a purely chicken-based menu quite limiting? I could just go to KFC!", I implore you to give this place a try. The chicken is succulent, it tastes fresh, and the options of what you can have are rather versatile. And you also won't have an unfortunate bathroom accident around 10am the following day (looking at you, KFC).
Also, the milkshakes are utterly to die for.

Really nice food. You have to us an app to order and pay. Service wasn't as good, confusion over drinks order.

Went here for dinner a few months ago. Go on a Wednesday and you get free wings! The food was simple but pretty tasty. The decor is interesting
