Cocktails that we tried were all nice, I like the screwball one which was only a fiver. Starter was really nice, the goats cheese parcels, my main wasn't anything special, the chickpea and spinach burger. Although my friends liked their main courses. I would go back but maybe wait till they changed
Came here after a trip to the cinema as i we were super hungry... walked in got seated in a booth which felt comfortable, great music but few customers. Ordered fish and chips good taste fish was not as what i expected as it wasnt like a fatty fried fish 😅. Took a while for food to arrive but that's
I love this restaurant, first time I went last night. We were seated immediately. It was so cute when we were given the menus, they were in a format of a newspaper. I had the chicken in a basket with sweet corn pancakes and crispy bacon with a side of chips. I am not lying, those chips are beautiful
Great food. The onion bhaji battered cod was amazing! The interior design was very nice with little beach hut type things you can sit in. Wonderful cocktail menu and quite a few gins. The cappuccino tasted better than what it looked. And although we didn't have dessert the menu sounded very nice I'm
This restaurant is fantastic. We had a lovely warm welcome when we arrived and it serves fantastic food at great prices. I can highly recommend the deconstructed scotch egg and the sea bass on a bed of bubble and squeak mash. The mocktails are delicious and a great alternative for those not wanti
We dined there tonight about 5.30 and have to say its one of the nicest little places we have been for food. My partner had the chicken and waffles and said it was gorgeous, the best waffles he's ever had but he would recommend putting the syrup in a pot as he personally doesn't like a lot of syrup
Amazing food and lovely staff who remembered it was my son's birthday when I made a casual remark when booking the table.. very reasonable prices and left with my belly filled to the brim with delicious food. Highly recommended!
Fantastic food, one of the nicest meals I've had for years. Just simple food incredibly well done. Atmosphere was really cosy for such a large place. Prices were ok, but the lunchtime set menu was brilliant value. Wish there was more than 4 of these in the country!
This place is fantastic. The staff was amazing and the food was tasty. The cocktails were great as well as the beer. Recommend the cherry drop for a sweet tooth. The Scottish haddock fish and chips tasted very fresh and the selection of malt vinegars perfectly complimented the fish. The mushy p
First visit but will be back. Great starter of Seafood Basket followed by superb Steak and IPA pie all washed down with couple pints of Neck oil.
Great twists on British classics! Went in for lunch and had a very pleasant time! I ordered the Onion Bhaji battered Fish with Rice and Curry Sauce, beautifully cooked and very delicious. Service was excellent, no complaints here. Everyone was nice and made us feel very comfortable.
Went here for dinner the other night. It was busy as it was the light night parade. Service was a bit slow, our drinks arrived after our starter which wasn't great. Ordered the squid rings to start, they were nice. For mains I ordered the fish burger and stilton chips with mushy peas and my partne
Top meal. Beautiful pie(s). Still not sure it was a mistake they have me 2 Steak pies! Ate them both 😋
Price was decent, not too expensive but borderline? However you see this chicken and waffles.... scrumptious stuff I'm telling you👏🏽
Great menu, British classics with a twist! Not overly expensive, so definitely worth a visit. For the chocolate lover I recommend the Warm Cadbury Fudge Finger Rolls, but be warned that they are sickly sweet!
The food here is absolutely divine. Although some would consider the prices here a tad lofty, it is understandable why after dining here. There are some reservation only booths which would have completed my experience here as they were very nautical themed, however the table near-side sufficiently s
